It's tough putting together a game preview for tonight's game when one surprising story after another comes filtering through Twitter or my Google Reader.

Chris Coste was designated for assignment today by the Phillies in order to make room for Raul Ibanez, who is supposed to be returning to the lineup, or at least the active roster, tonight. According to Scott Lauber (via Twitter), Coste has already been picked up by the Houston Astros.

With Paul Bako seeing more and more playing time recently, especially when Manuel could easily have gone with Coste in certain situations I guess we should have seen something like this coming. Macho Row wishes the best to Coste with his new team.
