Jim Tracy will remain manager of the Colorado Rockies as long as he sees fit.
The Rockies announced Tuesday that Tracy has been given an "indefinite" contract extension. General manager Dan O'Dowd said he and Tracy have a handshake deal and that no paperwork has been signed.
