For whatever reason, Rockies fans may boo the hometown team less than any other fans in the major leagues. But Manuel Corpas has been the exception to the rule. Todd Helton continues to draw loud rounds of applause despite his season-long struggles. Ian Stewart? He has done little offensively since April, but he, too, is greeted warmly when he comes to the plate. Corpas? He was booed off the mound Saturday night after allowing three straight hits without retiring a Giants hitter in the seventh inning. And no, it wasn’t the first time the boo birds had targeted him in recent weeks. “It doesn’t hurt my feelings,’’ said Corpas. “People buy tickets and come, so you can do whatever you want, boo or whatever. I can’t do anything about it.
