(Source) A registered vet has been charged with a crime against nature after he was accused of having sex with a horse when he was a student at Oklahoma State University’s veterinary medicine programme.
Thomas Lyle Wilson, 28, appeared before a Tulsa County Court judge on Thursday after he was charged with one count of crimes against nature, He pled not guilty.
Dr Wilson now practices at an animal hospital in Pennsylvania.
The court heard that on 14 September, 2009, a veterinarian was checking on the horses in the clinic’s barn via a live video feed and ‘observed the defendant having sex with a horse’.
When he confronted Wilson, he allegedly said: ‘I’m glad you caught me. I need help.’
According to the affidavit, Wilson graduated from OSU with a doctorate of veterinary medicine in July 2010 and was employed in 2009 as a preceptor at Legacy Equine Centre in Glenpool.
Judge Dale Fullerton said: ‘This will be my first time in 18-plus years of investigating this type of case.’
He is the chief investigator for the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
He said Dr Wilson has been very cooperative with the DA’s office.
Doesn’t everyone say that college is a time for exploration? Try some **** you would never try in real life. Maybe have your first lesbian experience etc etc? Well kind of misleading to hammer that into our generation’s collective consciousness and then arrest Tom Wilson for having sex with a horse. Guy was just trying something different. Exploring. As soon as he graduated I bet he would totally get a real job and stop banging all those horses, totally.
