By Paul Sullivan The Cubs waived outfielder Brad Snyder on Wednesday, making him a free agent. Snyder spent the last two seasons at Triple-A Iowa after being claimed off waivers from Cleveland near the end of the 2008 season. He hit .185 in 12 games for the Cubs last September, with 5 RBI in 27 at-bats. The Cubs 40-man roster now stands at 36.
