Found August 10, 2011 on Redlegs Review: Yardbarker Blogger Network
Johnny Cueto just wasn't his usual self in his last start -- an outing that resulted in a 11-4 Reds loss to the Cubs. The right-hander lasted only 3 2/3 innings in the game after surrendering five runs, seven hits and three walks. And after a little investigative work we may now know what led to his rocky performance -- a dubious serving of chicken wings. “I had bad chicken wings at the hotel,” the 25-year old told John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “Felt like I was going to throw up. I’m good now. I’m ready to pitch tomorrow.” With his stomach ailments now behind him, Cueto (7-5) is set to take the hill again tomorrow opposite Colorado's Jhoulys Chacin (9-8). First pitch is slated for 12:35.
