The voting results for the National League Cy Young Award were revealed on MLB Network on Wednesday and two Reds finished in the top eight. Cincinnati ace Johnny Cueto came in fourth after collecting 75 total points while southpaw closer Aroldis Chapman nestled into a tie for the eighth spot with one point. New York Mets knuckleballer R.A. Dickey won the award convincingly by garnering 27 out of 32 first-place votes and 209 points overall. Cueto boasted a 19-9 record and tidy 2.78 ERA in 33 starts. He set career highs in wins, innings pitched (217), strikeouts (170), games (33), K/BB (3.47), and WAR (5.8). Chapman took over the Reds closer role in May and never relinquished it. He tallied 38 saves while maintaining a 1.51 ERA in a career high 68 appearances. Cueto's lone first-place vote came from Cincinnati Enquirer's John Fay.
