The fall of Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios gaming company has been well documented.  The bankrupt company has been auctioning off their assets in an effort to pay back the $75 million tax-payer backed financing package from the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation.  Last night, the public was able to see what was left of the 38 Studios Providence-based headquarters in a public auction that included items from Schilling’s personal office like an elliptical workout machine, high-end rolling chairs valued at around $700 and 400 PC workstations.  The lavish spending by the failed company caused local NBC 10 reporter Bill Rappleye to challenge Schilling to go “on the record” about the lavish spending.
