Curt Schilling...HOFer?

The retirement of Curt Schilling has brought about the question of his Hall of Fame status.  Some people think he's a first-ballot Hall of Famer.  My question is, why do you think this?  Lets take a look at his numbers.
Career Wins: 216.  Good, but not great.Career ERA: 3.46.  Very good, but hall of fame worthy?Cy Young Awards: None.No-hitters/Perfect games: None.
Is he a Hall of Famer based on his postseason numbers?  I sure as hell hope not.  After all, getting to the postseason is far from an individual achievement.
Lets make a comparison here.
Mike Mussina has 270 wins, with a career ERA of 3.68.  If Schilling's a Hall of Famer, Mussina's definitely a Hall of Famer.
Orel Hershiser has 204 wins, an ERA of 3.89, and a Cy Young to his credit.  Oh yeah, and his postseason numbers are incredible.  If Schilling's a Hall of Famer, then maybe Hershiser should be too, huh?
My point is, Curt Schilling has not done much of anything to deserve placement in the HOF.  He only has 216 career wins, he has no Cy Young Awards, and he's never thrown a no-hitter or a perfect game.  He put up some good seasons, and has some good numbers, but none of them are Hall of Fame worthy.  And as for the postseason, are you really gonna put somebody in the Hall of Fame simply because of what they did in the postseason, and the fact that they were lucky enough to get there?  I mean, if you wanna go on postseason numbers, when's Bernie Williams getting elected?  If Curt Schilling gets elected to the Hall of Fame, there's going to be a lot of outrage from pitchers who had better numbers and didn't make it in.
