Sporting News staff reports Diamondbacks righthander Brandon Webb told The Arizona Republic that he isn't interested in restructuring his $8.5 million team option for 2010. "If it comes down to that and they ask me to do something like that, I would have to -- just for myself -- see what else is out there and see if there's something better," Webb told the newspaper. Because Webb hasn't pitched since opening day and had arthroscopic shoulder surgery in August, the team is facing a tough decision about next season. Arizona has until five days after the end of the World Series to exercise his $8.5 million option or a $2 million buyout clause. The Diamondbacks could buy him out and try to re-sign him in free agency. However, at that point, Webb would be free to negotiate a deal with any franchise.
