After dominating opposing hitters for most of the season, All-Star left-hander Patrick Corbin has been mired in a bit of rough stretch for the Diamondbacks. Corbin looks to bounce back from his worst outing of the season when he tries to help the D-backs win their third straight home series Sunday against the Giants. After yielding two runs during his second complete game of the season against the Reds on Aug. 20, Corbin (13-4, 2.79 ERA) allowed a career-high nine in 5 13 innings of a 9-5 loss in Philadelphia last Sunday. "It just wasn't my day," he said. "I left a lot of pitches up. I didn't have my best stuff. I feel bad about not going deeper into the game." Since going 12-1 with a 2.31 ERA in his first 20 starts and earning a spot on the NL All-Star roster, the left-hander is 1-3 with a 4.35 ERA in the last six.
