MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Jason Kubel, Paul Goldschmidt and Aaron Hill each homered in the Diamondbacks' 9-2 victory over the injury-depleted Brewers on Saturday night.
Kubel's two-run homer gave the D-backs a 3-2 lead in the fourth. Goldschmidt then hit a two-run drive in the fourth to make it 6-2, and Hill's solo shot capped the scoring in the eighth after his RBI double in the first gave Arizona a 1-0 lead.
Starter Patrick Corbin (1-0) gave up a run in each of the first two innings but settled in to win his season debut. The young left-hander gave up two runs on eight hits and one walk with two strikeouts in six innings.
The D-backs had 16 hits, with seven starters getting two hits each.
