Delgado, D-backs look to finish sweep of Reds

If the Diamondbacks are to finish off their first home sweep of the Reds in 10 years, they likely must find a way to end Mat Latos' dominance at Chase Field. The D-backs will be looking to do both while trying to match a season high with their fifth consecutive victory and hand the Reds a fourth straight defeat Sunday. One night after Arizona (41-33) pounded out 15 hits in...

D-backs' Prado confident of offensive turnaround

PHOENIX -- Martin Prado is at ease, at home, in the Diamondbacks' clubhouse. He greets his teammates with a handshake and a hug every day. On Wednesday morning, he traded hand slaps with Cody Ross' young son. Miguel Montero made it a point to show Prado the wrist decal that his son Angel had applied that morning, a tradeoff for taking his medicine. Prado rolled his shoulders...

D-backs look to get bats going against Reds

After a sweep at the hands of the Padres, the Diamondbacks got back in the win column with a little home cooking earlier this week, taking two of three games from the Marlins to maintain a 1 12-game lead atop the NL West. But the lead appears a bit precarious for a couple reasons. First, the D-backs have not had a starting pitcher win a game since June 5, a span of 13 starts. Part...
