1. Tim Lincecum has been brutal to start the season (0-2, 10.45 ERA, 1.90 WHIP), but he still has a 4.00 K/BB ratio and pitchers’ velocity tends to pick up as the season goes along. If I owned him I would be a little worried, but I’m not selling him 50 cents on the dollar either.
2. Sure Daniel Bard can make batters swing and miss like no one else, but until he improves his control he can’t be relied upon in shallow, 10-team leagues. Seven walks in 6.2 innings is inexcusable.
3. Until Carl Crawford returns to the lineup, the Red Sox outfield is going to be a mess with Jacoby Ellsbury out for a couple of months. Cody Ross was already getting playing time before the injury and I like him as a 4th OF, but I don’t think I’m shocking a...
