For the first time since 2006 the Padres were able to beat the Angels. It was a fantastic win to say the least. The Padres played Padres baseball: great pitching, great fielding (one error) and some timely hitting. Alexi Amarista was the spark plug for the team as he was always on base and scored 2 of the 3 Padres runs. I for one am very excited to watch him play in Petco for years to come.
