Danny Espinosa made news during the offseason for growing a massive beard. Then he arrived to Spring Training and shaved it off. Then 5 minutes later he regrew the beard again, and it seemed to be well on its way to being massive again.
Sadly, Danny Espinosa has shaved his beard again. There he is above as seen on TV Friday night against the Reds. And here's Danny and his beard on Friday afternoon:
Stay tuned: It could be back by the end of tonight's game.

A fan made an impressive catch of Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth's home run during the seventh inning of Saturday's game at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, as the fan caught it barehanded with his left hand while carrying his young son in his right hand.
Very impressive. The Reds might want to sign this guy...
Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth has one of the most recognizable beards in sports. If he ever signed a contract with the New York Yankees and had to shave, the amount of people who are able to identify Werth would probably decrease by at least 75%. That’s why the at-bat music he has been using during the Nats’ opening series of the year against the Miami Marlins...
Nationals’ fans are understandably disappointed in Dan Haren’s poor performance last night. In his first start in a Washington uniform, the 32-year-old gave up four home runs, and six earned runs total over the course of four innings, earning the loss in what was ultimately a 15-0 blowout.
It’ safe to say Nats fans were hoping for more, to say the least. Haren was...
Pitching in April can be a very difficult task for hurlers who play in colder climates. Going to a baseball game in Boston, New York or Washington, D.C. at the beginning of the season can be a very uncomfortable experience, and Washington Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez got a taste of that on a chilly 45-degree Wednesday night against the Miami Marlins. Gonzalez handled the conditions...
Gio Gonzalez of the Washington Nationals threw six innings of scoreless baseball on Wednesday, but it was his comments after the game which really got people talking. Personally, I love it and think he really needs to speak more often. make of the quote below, what you will.
“It was definitely difficult, especially with this cold weather,” he said. “It was tough to get a...
Take a look at the salary each member of the Washington Nationals will be making for the 2013 Major League Baseball season.
While Bryce Harper is tearing up the MLB, his older brother Bryan and his unbelievable mustache are dominating at life.
Right-hander Jordan Zimmermann worked around eight hits over six innings, Ryan Zimmerman's three hits included a two-run double, and the Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins 6-1 Thursday for a season-opening three-game sweep.
Jayson Werth tacked on a three-run homer in the seventh, and Bryce Harper had another eventful day, collecting two hits, taking an elbow to the...
Ian Desmond made two errors at shortstop that helped the Cincinnati Reds send the game to extra innings, then led off the 11th with his first homer of the season to rally the Washington Nationals to a 7-6 victory Saturday.
The Nationals were coming off a 15-0 loss in the series opener, their most lopsided defeat since baseball returned to Washington in 2005. The Reds hit six homers...
The Washington Nationals had a rough series opener against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night losing 15-0, which was the worst loss in team history since 2005. The Nats looked to come in to recover from that beating on Saturday afternoon behind Ross Detwiler, and they did just that, even if it did come off the rails a bit in the late innings.
Speaking of Detwiler, he had quite...

YEEEEAAAAHHH BABY!!! Dat’s what I’m talkin’ bout! Dat’s what “swag” looks like! In case you don’t know that’s what’s called takin’ a team to the woodshed, also known as a butt whuppin’. The Nationals are heading to their team hotel with some Big Red welts on their backsides! Hey all you so called experts, those stone tablets...
