It's been a long time since the whole Curt Schilling vs. the Boston Red Sox debacle. In case you don't remember what happened, here's a recap: Curt wanted surgery on Boston's dime, the club said no and told him to try rehab, that didn't go so well so he had the surgery anyway.
Well that was all in the past and most people assumed it was just water under the bridge. Apparently Schilling's doctor, Dr. Craig Morgan, has decided to take a swim in that water. He released a statement to the AP today saying, "If the (team) would have let me do the surgery in January, he'd probably be pitching in the playoffs now."
Honestly, do we really need to dredge this up all over again? What good could that possibly do for anyone? I mean obviously aside from the classy Dr. Morgan, who stands to benefit from the publicity of being able to say 'I told you so!'
Oh, I get it now... asshole.
