Found September 15, 2013 on Fox Sports Arizona:
Rockies relievers have fared poorly in their last two series at Chase Field, but Jhoulys Chacin could help them limit that trend. Chacin has pitched well against the Diamondbacks and has predictably fared better on the road than at home this year, and he'll try to continue that as these NL West clubs finish a three-game set Sunday. Colorado's bullpen has posted a 10.02 ERA in its last five games at Arizona (74-73), surrendering 10 runs over 7 23 innings in the first two of this series. No Rockies starter has been able to get through the sixth inning in those contests. Chacin (13-8, 3.09 ERA) is capable of changing that since he is 4-2 with a 2.71 ERA in 11 starts against the Diamondbacks, including 2-1 with a 1.78 ERA in four on the road. The Rockies (68-81) certainly hope he continues his success against Miguel Montero, who is 3 for 18 off Chacin but 6 for 8 with a three-run homer in this series. Chacin also has limited Paul Goldschmidt to one hit in eight at-bats and G...

Rockies Rumors: Colorado to 'seriously consider' offers for Troy Tulowitzki

With the Rockies potentially being interested in trading Carlos Gonzalez, there is no way the team could look to trade his partner in crime named Troy Tulowitzki, right? The Rockies will ...

Corey Dickerson Swings at Ball that Bounces Three Feet in Front of Home Plate, Connects for Trick-Shot Double (Video)

Eyes can't be trusted in September. Along with March it ranks as baseball's most deceiving month. Charlie Blackmon had three hits and three RBIs for the Rockies, who prevented the Cardinals from taking over sole possession of the NL Central lead. They remained...

Diamondbacks' Goldschmidt drives in 5 runs in 8-2 win over Rockies

Paul Goldschmidt knew before he signed his long-term contract in March that narratives would be assigned based on how he performed. If he played well people would say the deal helped him relax.
