Considering the fact that the man who signs his paychecks is Jewish, it’s quite possible the Tigers aren’t done cutting people just yet.
Delmon Young was arrested in New York for allegedly starting a fight and yelling anti-Semetic epithets.
A police source told the New York Post that Young was “highly intoxicated.” Shocker.
Young faces a aggravated harassment hate crime charge, which is a misdemeanor. It’s going to be way more damaging to his career than his freedom.
From the NY Post:
“A panhandler wearing a yamulke approached a group of people to ask for some change — and that’s when Young, who was nearby, started shouting, “F–king Jews! F–king Jews!”
That’s when another man and a group of his friends got into a confrontation with Young at about 2:40 a.m. that quickly turned physical along Sixth Avenue, law enforcement sources said.
Any Twins fans who were reeling from his departure last year are surely relieved they washed their hands of him now.
Please don’t anyone forget this

manager Ron Gardenhire said after his team dropped a 7-6 decision to the Kansas City...

Potential Trade Candidate: Francisco Liriano
While the trade market doesn’t traditionally become active before early summer, it’s never too early to begin an examination of some of the potential options that may be available either now or in the coming months. Recap: Sox hang on for a 7-6 win in Minnesota
First things first: I didn't watch this game. I was too busy watching the Bruins be lousy and lose to Washington in overtime. (I predicted the outcome, which only makes me feel about 4% better.)
I'm guessing many of you are like me and didn't watch, so let's take a look-see through the box score and play by play to see what we missed.
They got out to an early lead...
