Well, cheer up my chaps, because Ruben Amaro heard your cries and went out and signed Delwyn Young to a minor league contract. That's right, Delwyn, who mysteriously isn't related to the baseball brothers Delmon and Dmitri, might end up being the 25th man on the roster and therefore a Phucco. Go ahead, commence rejoicing.Young has spent the past 2 seasons with the Pirates and the previous 3 with the Dodgers. In 5 seasons, the switch hitting 28 year old has posted a .258 average and .710 OPS while playing 2nd base and corner outfield.
