The Tampa Bay Rays have surprised nobody by winning 10 of their last 11 games. You have to look no further than last September, when the Rays went on a similar run to beat out the sliding Boston Red Sox, getting the AL Wild Card on the last day of the season. Despite the similar run, there will be no postseason for the Rays in 2012, even though there is an additional Wild Card added for each league. What the Rays did not have this year is a version of the Red Sox, a team collapsing like few in the history of the game.
