Tigers’ pitchers and catchers are set to report to camp during the second week of February, with the full roster not far behind. The defending American League champs open their Grapefruit League schedule on Feb. 22, against the Atlanta Braves.
Verlander owns a home in Lakeland, which makes it a little easier for head to Florida early (apparently, guessing off the photo, by private plane). No word if he’s expecting a visit from Kate Upton while he’s down there.
