If Detroit Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski is being honest when he says that his team’s roster is basically set save for another veteran reliever, than he may be done with his offseason shopping very soon. The latest, from FOX’s Jon Morosi:
Tigers are in discussions with free agent Joba Chamberlain, source confirms. @FOXSports1

That tweet furthers the storyline laid out for Chamberlain and the Tigers by ESPN’s Buster Olney earlier Thursday:
The Tigers have serious interest in signing Joba Chamberlain.

Chamberlain would provide a high-risk, high-reward signing in Detroit’s bullpen, where he would compete with Bruce Rondon, Al Alburquerque and others for a setup role in front of closer Joe Nathan.
