The righty, Eppley, has already made a few appearances for the Yanks this season before being sent back down to the minors. But due to a depleted bullen, Eppley was recalled to help fill the void missing at the reliever spot. There’s been a few holes in the outfield for the Yankees due to recent injuries to Brett Gardner and Nick Swisher. So until they are healthy again, the club called up center fielder, Dewayne Wise. He joined the team shortly before game time yesterday, and entered the game late as a pinch-hitter. His major league debut at-bat resulted in a double, and the Yankees hope to get more production out of him until the roster is back to 100% again.
