No need to panic, not even anywhere close, but if you listen to Arizona Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson after yesterday's loss to the Colorado Rockies, it sounds as if there is still some attitude adjusting to be done in the clubhouse, at least that was what was inferred. Not sure that's what I wanted to hear after just two games and just under two weeks in camp.

After losing to the San Francisco Giants on Friday and Rockies yesterday, the Dbacks just defeated the Giants 4-3 today in Cactus League play.  We all know the games don't count, but you would like to see the Dbacks obtain that winning attitude early so it doesn't drag on well into the regular season as it did in 2010.

The offense was there for the first couple of days, however today the Dbacks were getting blanked today 3-0 until scoring four runs in the 8th.  Yesterday they scored five in the 9th to get to extra innings.  Why are they waiting for late game to get going?  Who knows.  Still very early.  All I know is that after two plus games, the Dbacks have given up 15 runs.  That's a lot.  Again, I say it's early, but the bullpen needs to shore itself up.  Thank goodness there are still 31 days until opening day!
