On Friday afternoon, Dick Monfort sent a email to season ticket holders. The contents are below.A Message from Rockies CEO Dick MonfortDear Season Ticket Holder, I have let too much time pass since my last email and for that I apologize as I do feel consistent communication with all of you is very important. Our team record remains far below what we desire. I offer you no excuses and I also refuse to blame any one person. The team performance is our problem and we are going to fix it.As we announced on August 1st, Bill Geivett our longtime Assistant General Manager, former player and with over 30 years of experience in the game, will focus 100% of his time on the Major League team. Bill truly understands the game and is an excellent communicator. His full attention will be on pitching, which includes pitch selection, optimum length and a more aggressive offensive approach; all things necessary to win every series which is our goal.On the field, we are very excited about Josh Rutledge...
