Found February 10, 2012 on Mets Fever:
The Orioles just designated Matt Angle for assignment to make room on the 40 man roster for Luis Ayala.  Angle is a left handed hitting center fielder considered to be a marginal prospect ( somewhere in the 20's range/honorable mention type).  Angle made his debut in the majors in July of 2011, appearing in 31 games with a .177 BA/.293 OBP and in AAA he hit .266 with a .343 OBP in two seasons.  A left handed hitting, defensive specialist, who gets on base and has options sounds like what the Mets were looking for when they said they would see what slips through the cracks...

Speedy outfielder with plus speed and plus defense in center field. Good first step on defense and takes quality routes, which put him in good position to throw the ball which helps make up for his lack of arm strength (tick below-average arm). Good instincts both in the outfield and on base paths. Contact hitter with little power, but gets on-base at high rate. Outstanding bunter and uses all fields. source Oriole Nation

How The Orioles Got Banned From South Korea

Living in Newark, NJ now (yes, the name of this website has been irrelevant for the last 6 months), I get a good fill of New York sports news, which is great.
