Over the past 24 hours or so, there were tons of articles and blog postings about Theo Epstein, Sox GM, getting married at the Coney Island Nathan's hot dog stand. Sadly, way too many people bought the story. The truth? It was all a joke. Theo and Marie had never even been to Coney Island, much less Nathans. Suckers.

  • Turns out Theo's father, when responding to questions, sent it out in an email. The press picked it up, and so did many other people out there and thought it to be true.
