Greatings once again everyone. It is I, Sky from Razzball fantasy football to try and mess up your 2013 fantasy baseball season before it even starts. Wait, I'm here to help...yeah, that's it. Before you scoff at seeing Dan Uggla, I would like to let you know I've come from the future and I've seen some amazing things. In this far off dystopian future, I see people drafting Uggla within the first 5 rounds of the draft and being forever butthurt about it for years to come. And in this same macabre, twisted forthcoming destiny I see Aaron Hill being the second best second baseman (say that 20 times fast) on the season when he went undrafted in most leagues. Behold, my tool from which I foretold the future: The Razzball Fantasy Baseball Player Rater! *Reads email from Grey* Well this is awkward. I've just been informed that link guides us back to 2012 information which is only the future if you went into a coma in 2011 and just came out of it. Now you are going to ask 'What was the point of this nonsensical romp into the cavernous wastelands of your imagination, Sky?' You see, I'm here to tell a tale of possible ADP redemption that has already once been told by looking back at our dear sweet FA darling Hill to gauge just whether or not Uggla is a bargain for 2013 fantasy baseball. To the stat-mobile!The post Discount Double Check: Dan Uggla appeared first on Fantasy Baseball Blog at Razzball.com.

This story has been covered on the interwebs on several occasions before this post — including a mention on Wikipedia, a source of 100% reliability — but it’s making the rounds again and given its whimsical nature and cultural and historical importance, it is certainly worth another visit. Old Hoss Radbourn was a pitcher for the 1886 Boston Beaneaters, an organization that...
The Braves have been quick to let us know which current Braves are playing for Team USA (Go Kimmie and Meds!) and about how Andrelton is playing on Team Great Smiles (...I mean, Netherlands). But what about everyone else (Marteen)? And what about former Braves or minor-league Braves? We care about those guys too!
Here's a breakdown. One asterisk indicates a minor-leaguer, two...
The Braves system is not as deep as it once was and the majority of the talent is found in the lower levels of the system. With that said, there are some intriguing pitching and up-the-middle infield prospects. The outfield depth is very thin.

It was an off year for Teheran...
ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves avoided arbitration with five players Friday, including outfielder Jason Heyward, starting pitcher Kris Medlen and reliever Eric O'Flaherty.
Heyward agreed to a one-year deal worth 3.65 million in his first year of arbitration eligibility, a big increase from the 565,000 he made last season while batting .269 with 27 homers, 82 RBIs and 21 stolen...

Former MLB Fan Cave Dweller Rich Mast is back with a brand new video for Atlanta Braves fans. You remember Ricky right? He’s the guy who brought us the “Chipper Jones Go Yickitty” video last season…
Here’s his latest work, summarizing the Braves winter. Enjoy.
The Braves system is one that has graduated some top talents with guys like Heyward, Delgado, Freeman and, in 2012, a major surprise in Simmons. The system has also had its share of players slide...
