Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reported earlier this week that if the Milwaukee Brewers cannot get pitcher Zack Greinke signed to a long-term deal soon then they would trade the talented right hander who can become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. Rosenthal highlights that the Brewers are currently 7 1/2 games out of first place in the National League Central and 5 1/2 back in the Wildcard race. At this point it would seem that they could be sellers come the non-waiver deadline given the ground that they still have to make up. Among the interested teams that could give the Brewers a call are the usual suspects in the Yankees, Red Sox and Dodgers, but where does this leave the Tigers and could they need Greinke the most? As of Wednesday night the Tigers sit 3 1/2 games behind the Chicago White Sox in a very winnable American League Central. Having said that the Tigers are also pretty inconsistent beyond Justin Verlander and Doug Fister in their starting rotation. Greinke
