Quick let’s celebrate, the Cubs are on a four game winning streak. I know it is ridiculous to be elated so early in the season, but the Cubs are back at .500 and within a series sweep of passing the St. Louis Cardinals. I, and Chicago, needs this as the Bulls are about to knocked out of the NBA Playoffs and the Bears were able to do little to help their team after trading away just about all their decent draft picks. So, let me obsess over Ryan Theriot and ask forgiveness for doubting him. He has been on fire, hitting .550 (11/20) with 4 runs scored and 5 RBI over the past four games. Let me be flogged for doubting Sweet Lou and accuse him of over managing. Fukudome has been terrific against righties over those same four games, hitting 5/11 with two dingers and four RBI in situational duty. Let me believe starting rotation will continue to be this amazing. They have a combined 1.95 ERA over that four-game winning streak with a 3.25 K/BB ratio and zero home runs surrendered. Let me b...
