BALTIMORE (AP) -- Friday night's game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles has been postponed by rain.
The shower began before the scheduled 7:05 p.m. starting time and the game was called after a wait of nearly two hours.
This is the Dodgers' only visit to Camden Yards this season, so the teams will play a split-doubleheader on Saturday. The first game will start at 1 p.m. and the second at 7:05 p.m.
Los Angeles hasn't visited Camden Yards since 2002. The teams also met in California in 2004.
The Dodgers entered the game mired in a four-game losing streak. Los Angeles scored only seven runs during the skid, which included a three-game sweep by the visiting San Diego Padres.
Baltimore is in the midst of a nine-game homestand.

Roy-Z over at Plain Gray Swatch wrote a post a while back in which he asked why so many Dodgers' fans seemed to be down on the "ever-consistent" Andre Ethier, viewing him more as a liability than as a star. I happen to be one of those people that has never been a big Ethier fan and advocated trading him long ago, so I thought I'd lay out the reasoning behind my...
Kenley Jansen is possible the best non-closer reliever in the game. He had already recorded four outs and then the Dodgers brought in Paco Rodriguez and Ronald Belisario. They did not pitch like Kenley Jansen. With the game tied at 5, the following happened:
Rodriguez only got a shot at the AL home run leader, Chris Davis, before Belisario came in. The total damage: 2...

If it seemed like A.J. Ellis was slow to get out and try to divert a charging Carlos Quentin, it's because he was. Ellis, not necessarily familiar with the bad blood between Zack Greinke and Quentin, had no reason to believe a seemingly innocuous hit-by-pitch to the arm would result in an all-out brawl. Not on a 3-2 count in a one-run game, at least. But it did, and...

The Baltimore Orioles evidently figure if they're going to work overtime, they might as well make the most of it.
Matt Wieters hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 10th inning and Baltimore withstood four solo homers by the Tampa Bay Rays in a 10-6 victory Thursday night.
