So….I have sources telling me….JUST KIDDING!!  If you are back reading this blog today from yesterday’s post…you will totally understand why that’s funny or not funny!  Moving on…Immediately following the National League’s 5-1 victory over the American League in the All Star Game in Arizona, the Milwaukee Brewers announced they traded 2 players to be named for New York Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez and cash.  In one word – ABSOLUTELY! No matter how you look at it…the Brewers acquired a setup man in Krod, not a closer.  He will pitch the 8th and setup for Milwaukee’s closer, John Axford.  Why do I know this?  Well, if Krod FINISHES (not appears) 55 games – Rodriguez will have his $17.5 Million Dollar vested option kicks in.  And the Brewers will NOT allow that to happen.
