Doubleheader Thread: Pirates at Reds — 2009.08.31

The Reds close out a miserable August in style, with a day/night doubleheader against Pittsburgh today. Game one is this afternoon, then the teams will hook up again at 7:10 pm. Kip Wells pitches the first game; Johnny Cueto will throw in the nightcap. Am I the only one who wishes the Reds would just shut Cueto down for the year? Why pitch him in these meaningless games?
