Wil Myers is so big that he has reached Ville fame. OK, so its not Wrigleyville or Louisville, but the Tampa Bay Rays Class AAA affiliate, the Durham Bulls, have created WilVille in honor of the top prospect. Starting April 17, fans will be able to sit in a themed section at field level along the right-field line at Durham Bulls Athletic Park near Myers most common playing position. Tickets in WilVille include a blue T-shirt showcasing his likeness and 5 in concessions credit for 20."You don't get to see a prospect like Wil Myers every day," Durham general manager Mike Birling said in a release. "WilVille not only gives fans a chance to commemorate his time in Durham, but it's also an incredible value." This is the minors, of course, so some fine print is necessary. The Bulls release on the promotion includes the line, Please note the Bulls lineup changes daily. In the event that Wil Myers is not in the lineup the day you purchase tickets in WilVille, your ticket will still be valid for that day only and you will receive a t-shirt. No refunds or exchanges. Myers, the returning minor-league player of the year who was traded from the Kansas City Royals to the Rays in December, is hitting .333 with five RBI through five games in Durham. Now fans can watch him in a ville of his own. You can follow Andrew Astleford on Twitter @aastleford or email him at aastleford@gmail.com.
