Last year, injuries and a lack of experience left the White Sox with a somewhat inconsistent, yet mostly effective starting pitching staff. Led by the breakout season of Chris Sale and the reemergence of veteran Jake Peavy, the unit did a solid job as a whole against the tough American League.
