Minnesota Twins right-handed pitcher Scott Baker will have to undergo season-ending elbow surgery. Baker, who had to leave a minor league rehab start last week, will go under the knife to repair the flexor pronator tendon in his right elbow. The team's opening day starter in 2011, Baker has missed time in each of the last two seasons because of the same injury. Recovery time is expected to be six months for the 30-year-old Baker, who will become a free agent after the season. Last year, Baker went 8-6 with a 3.14 ERA in 23 appearances, including 21 starts.
