Found July 20, 2012 on Cleveland Sports Torture:
What if…. the Indians and RTA launched a program to help get people to and from the ballpark which is cost effective and convenient? They did just that this week by launching their Fan-Focused Transportation Initiative. Part of the new program is a "Free Transportation Weekend" for all fans on July 20, 21, and 22. The free transportation options include: Free parking with advanced ticket purchase Free shuttle service to and from Ohio City Free rapid service on the Blue, Green and Red Line All of this sounds great. This program combined with the annual Rock-n-Blast fireworks show will bring fans, which the Indians desperately need, to show up at the ballpark. At the very least it will take away and excuse that parking is too expensive (not really), and hard to find (not true). Well someone at the RTA, or the Indians dropped the ball. Apparently starting tonight at 8pm, the Green Li...

Hernandez returns to Cleveland a new man

CLEVELAND -- Roberto Hernandez put his head down, then slowly and quietly answered very simply on Sunday. No, he said, sounding near embarrassed. Was it all worth it to Hernandez, the Cleveland Indians pitcher once known as Fausto Carmona. Was it worth the public embarrassment for the six years in the major leagues and the 14 milllion in salary he had been paid? Hernandez said no...

Lowe, Cleveland offense continue to struggle

Derek Lowe's second-half downward spiral continued Wednesday, but at this point it's a tossup whether a lack of pitching or a lack of hitting is the Cleveland Indians' biggest problem. Both deficiencies were responsible for Cleveland's 5-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Lowe gave up five runs on eight hits in six innings and was in almost constant trouble. The Indians...

MLB Trade News: Indians Acquire Brent Lillibridge

In what is possibly the most Cleveland Indians move in 2012, the Cleveland Indians have responded to the Detroit Tigers’ recent trade by sending minor league pitcher Jose De La Torre to the Boston Red Sox for infielder/outfielder Brent Lillibridge. Lillibridge, a 29-year-old right-hander, was recently designated for assignment after managing to amass no walks and two hits while...

Indians 3, Tigers 2: Ubaldo and the Squeeze Push Tribe To Victory

The Indians entered this monster three-game series with the the Detroit Tigers at a bit of a crossroads. 7/25 Game Recap: Tigers 5 - Indians 3

Roster Update: As predicted, Brent Lillibridge has taken Aaron Cunningham's place on the Indians 25 man roster. This continues with the Indians strategy of releasing a player every time they knock in the winning run in a game. Player of the Game Casey Kotchman hit a two run home run to score the first runs of the game for the Tribe. His final score was 4.38 and he was aided...

Indians trade for Brent Lillibridge

In what was exactly the move Indians fans have been looking for throughout the past few years, the Indians have traded Jose De La Torre (a 26 year old relief pitcher in AA) to the Boston Red Sox for Brent Lillibridge (a 28 year old glorified pinch runner).  First, what the Indians are losing.
