Evan Meek will be the Pirates' lone 2010 All-Star representative. Meek, who is certainly deserving, owns the lowest ERA in all of baseball with a 0.98 mark.Along with his ERA, he owns an impressive 3.82 K/BB ratio and has held opposing hitters to a .183 average. He also has a 1.0 WAR as a setup man.I am a bit surprised that Meek made the team over Andrew McCutchen, however, McCutchen's recent slide, which has seen his BA slip below .300 is probably why 'Cutch was was left out.
