Ex Arizona Diamondbacks announcer Mark Grace has been indicted in a DUI case, and faces up to four years in prison if he's convicted. It's really quite a sad situation, as it's his second DUI charge in the past 15 months. Grace faces four felony counts of "aggravated driving or actual physical control while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs." Luckily Grace didn't kill or harm any innocent persons in either instance of driving under the influence, but that's clearly no justification for his actions; nor is it anything that should ever be tolerated. According to the AP, on the night of the arrest: "Grace was arrested Aug. 23 by Scottsdale police who said his blood-alcohol level was .095 percent, above the state's legal limit of .08.  Police said Grace also was allegedly driving on a suspended license and didn't have the required interlock device installed in his vehicle stemming from a May 2011 DUI charge." Grace took a leave of absence from his Diamondbacks announcing job after this second DUI, and the Diamondbacks recently parted ways with both Grace and his broadcast partner Daron Sutton. The Diamondbacks just recently named Bob Brenly and Steve Berthiaume as their new TV Broadcasters. Brenly is leaving WGN after eight years in the booth with the Chicago Cubs, and Berthiaume is leaving his anchor role at Baseball Tonight, and will be taking a huge step to further his career with this play by play role for the Diamondbacks. Initially, after Grace left the Diamondbacks booth, the question was whether he would soon return to announcing. Now the question is whether or not he'll avoid jail time and get his life back together.
