Found March 24, 2012 on We Should Be GM's:
Our homeboy, Pat "The Bat" Burrell, officially retired this offseason, but that doesn't mean he's done with baseball. He's decided to stay on with the San Francisco Giants as a scout. He's currently helping to evaluate the Giants prospects. Something tells me he'd be better suited for scouting off-field talent in San Fran, but then again, I heard that area isn't really Burrell's cup of tea...if you know what I mean. Not our homeboy, Adam Eaton, has made the news because of a paycheck snafu. The Arizona Diamondbacks have an outfielder in their farm system by the same name and he's been mistakenly getting the ex-MLB pitcher's payday. Not sure why Adam Eaton, the one we hate, not the one we don't know, is still getting paid. Adam Eaton, the pitcher, miraculously ended his career with a winning record (71-68), despite a ghastly 4.94 ERA/1.44 WHIP. Adam Eaton, the outfielder, has quite the bat and set of wheels- .340/.956, 133 R, 10...

PEORIA, Ariz. Josh Collmenter looked and felt like himself Sunday, justifying manager Kirk Gibsons earlier decision to assure him a spot in the starting rotation while seeming to allay Gibsons fears about lingering health issues. If so how many games can he play there? The 41 year old slugger...

With Open Day Looming, Questions arise in Phillies camp

There is a race going on in Phillies camp: Who will come back first, Ryan Howard or Chase Utley? When you are five time National League champion, not many question should come from within the camp. But there is one problem. The Phillies are getting old. When your core is older than 30, you are going to have problems. It is why the Mets folded in 2007, why the Braves can ‘t hold...
