Your browser does not support iframes. There are two types of people in the world when it comes balls flying into the stands. There are those who save lives by catching the ball or jumping in front of it, and there are those who duck and cover with no regard for their surroundings. When St. Louis Cardinals infielder Pete Kozma blasted a home run against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, we were introduced to one of the duck-and-cover guys. As you can see, some fan sitting in center field made sure to get himself out of the way of Kozma’s home run ball — despite the fact that he was sitting with a young lady. The woman ended up taking the ball right to the neck. But hey, at least he looked concerned about it after. Not everyone can make heroic saves like this NBA coach made earlier this week when a ball was about to hit a young boy. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there like that infamous Astros fan who let his girlfriend get nailed by a foul ball. Hopefully the embarrassment from this incident will turn this guy into a hero if a similar situation arises in the future.
