Found August 31, 2012 on Redlegs Review:
First off, how cool is this? What you behold here is the beautiful work of Bill Irons, a 44-year old married father of four and a devoted Reds fan, who turned his massive 12-acre corn patch into a Cincinnati Reds-themed maze. This marks the 13th consecutive year that the Lebanon, Ohio native has sculpted such a creative design into his patch of corn. Last year the theme was zoo animals and in 2007 it was a Bengals-themed maze. “It’s not perfect,” Irons said. “But I’m happy with the way it turned out.” As part of Irons’ agreement with the Reds to use their logos, $1 for each paying customer will go toward the Reds Community Fund. Here is some more information on how you can see this cleverly-designed piece of landscape for yourself. Getting personal with Todd Frazier

Last Game The Reds kicked some Diamondback butt yesterday afternoon, sweeping the three-game series. They’re the first team to reach 80 wins, and the Nationals and the Rangers, who are tied for the second-most wins in baseball, only have 77. Mat Latos bounced back nicely, allowing 2 hits and striking out 7 in 7.0 innings of work. And the home run bats suddenly woke up, too. Three...

An additional $100 would be awarded to the willing participant for each ball caught. Only the Giants'...

"You've got to tighten your belt and fight. That's what it's all about." After going 1-for-5 with four strikeouts in the Reds' 6-2 win over Arizona, Stubbs is...

Yesterday, we rolled out Fielding Dependent Pitching in an effort to provide a more thorough evaluation of pitching and run prevention.
