The atmosphere at Fenway Park was electric from the first pitch to Koji Uehara’s last pitch to clinch the World Series title. While the Red Sox had jumped out to a six-run lead by the fourth inning, the Fenway Faithful kept the noise at an all-time high, exploding with every crack of the bat and rising to their feet as John Lackey walked off the field after 6 2/3 stellar innings. The energy was incredible throughout, but as Uehara struck out Matt Carpenter to seal the Game 6 victory and close out the series, the crowd absolutely erupted, almost drowning out “Dirty Water” from the speakers. CBS Sports’ Matt Snyder had a pretty great view when the Red Sox clinched their third title in 10 seasons and sent Boston into mayhem. From the right-field seats, Snyder was able to capture the amazing environment in a spectacular video. Check out the moment the party started in the video below, and skip ahead to the 2:00 mark if you want to get straight to the goods.  Filed under: Anna Fogel, Boston Red Sox, Headlines, World Series
