The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim had a tough one last night against the Houston Astros as John Lackey went for his MLB leading 11th win. As lackey seemed off his game early, allowing 6 runs before getting the hook in the 5th, the story of the game became Chone Figgins. Having stuggled since returning from the DL, Figgins had a historic night. His 6-6 night, which included the walk off knock that scored Reggie Willits in the 9th, set an Angels record for a nine-inning game. He is the second Angel to get six, the other being Garret Anderson who went 6-for-7 on Sept. 27, 1996, against Texas. Figgins also tied the American League record, and accounted for the first six-hit performance in the Majors since Seattle's Raul Ibanez did it on Sept. 22, 2004.
