The clubhouse is considerably less crowded Wednesday morning. The Marlins released Derrick Turnbow a day after he left the mound in excruciating shoulder pain. Before departing Wednesday, Turnbow said he still felt enough shoulder soreness to where he couldn’t raise his arm. In the next few days he plans to see one of two orthopedic surgeons, either James Andrews or Lewis Yocum. In 2008, Turnbow was diagnosed with a partially torn rotator cuff, but four doctors told him he could rehab without surgery “More than likely I’ll probably try to have surgery and try to get it fixed unless it’s something that’s just going to take forever to come back,” Turnbow said. “If my body gives out, there’s nothing I can do about it.
