The Big Lead has done a lot for the online sports blogging community, but its finest work may be this clip of John Kruk eating ribs during last night’s Home Run Derby. In slow motion. With the Chariots Of Fire theme playing over it.
If you want to see it (and haven’t been dissuaded too severely by that screen grab of Kruk sucking on his middle finger), the video that exists for some reason is after the jump.

John Kruk was on hand for ESPN’s coverage of the Home Run Derby on Monday, but he decided to do what he does best instead: eat.
Royals legend George Brett joined the broadcasting crew for several minutes and brought a taste of Kansas City with him. He shared a tray of Meat Mitch ribs with the group, and Kruk wasn’t bashful about helping himself. The rotund analyst shamelessly...

From the the Big Lead we bring you something that is absolutely fantastic -- John Kruk eating ribs to the Chariots of Fire theme song. We hope you enjoy it as much as Big John enjoyed his ribs.We know for a fact that John enjoyed the ribs more than he enjoyed facing Randy Johnson in the All Star game.
The All Star game is being held in Kansas City, home to great barbeque. Just because there's a live television broadcast doesn't mean that a rotund fella like John Kruk needs to hold off on meal time, voraciously digging into a pile of ribs during the Home Run Derby. The only thing that can make such a spectacle better is slow motion and the Chariots of Fire theme.
