                            Pete Lepak                          RedSoxLife Staff Writer Game 49: Red Sox batscrush old Sox pitchers for win The Boston bats came alive and John Lackey pitched seven very strong innings to give the Sox a win on a rain soaked Friday night at Fenway. Lackey gave up only two hits and struck out eight while throwing a variety of pitches with some good command. The Red Sox gathered nine hits to go with their eight runs. If you watched the game, you would have seen many familiar faces taking the hill for Cleveland; Justin Masterson started, Rich Hill relieved him, and Matt Albers pitched the seventh. All three pitched for the Red Sox in the last couple of years. Here are the four at bats that changed tonight's game: 1) Bottom of the second inning, and Mike Napoli and David Ortiz are on first and third base.
