A foul tip by Atlanta Braves All-Star Freddie Freeman smashed a camera behind home plate at Citi Field during Wednesday night's game against the New York Mets.
It happened in the first pitch of Freeman's second inning at-bat. No word yet if Freeman has to pay for it.
It's the third time this season that the glass in front of the camera has been shattered, including one time when it happened on the ceremonial first pitch. Maybe the Mets need to move that camera, or consider investing in shatterproof glass.

A season over and a career in jeopardy after a gruesome injury -- and Tim Hudson's wife saw it all unfold before her eyes at Citi Field Wednesday night.
But Kim Hudson didn't harbor any ill-will toward the Mets' Eric Young Jr. after he inadvertently stepped on Hudson's right ankle while he was trying to cover first base. Instead she wrote to both Young and the Mets...
You got to give it to all involved on this one, including the Mets organization, the Braves, Tim Hudson, Kim Hudson and even Eric Young Jr. for how well the aftermath of a terrible injury played out. Check out the slightly heartwarming exchange between Eric Young Jr. who accidentally fractured Tim Hudson’s ankle on Wednesday night during a game and Hudson’s wife. Good stuff...
NEW YORK -- Tim Hudson is out for the season with a broken right ankle, leaving the Atlanta Braves without the leader of their pitching staff as they make a push for the pennant.

Instead of celebrating what had the makings to be one of Tim Hudson's finest starts this season the Braves experienced the nightmare of seeing Hudson carted off the field with a right ankle fracture.
The Braves tweeted after the game that Hudson will have surgery in Atlanta when the swelling in his ankle goes down.

Tim Hudson was the one laid up in the hospital with a possible career-ending broken ankle Thursday but it was Eric Young Jr. — the Mets player who unintentionally stepped on Hudson's ankle Wednesday night — who also got some words of encouragement from the Braves pitcher's wife, Kim.

On Sunday, July 21, Atlanta Braves' left-hander Paul Maholm left his team's road trip to travel back to Atlanta to have his wrist examined. Initial indications were that Maholm would make his next start against the Mets on Thursday. However, as MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports, the MRI revealed a sprained left wrist, and Maholm will spend at least two weeks on the disabled...
Once again, the Atlanta Braves struggled to score runs against the New York Mets on Tuesday night, as the Mets were able to score 3 runs late to defeat the Braves, 4-1. The Braves were 1-8 with RISP during Tuesday’s game. That does not bode well for getting runs or a win in any game. The only Braves run of the game came from the very 1st batter, Andrelton Simmons. Simmons led...
