Frickin' AAA!

The Jays Triple-A all-star representative gets the limelight in the world wide web phenomenon known as the Batter's Box POTD. ;D Congratulations to first baseman/DH Randy Ruiz, who's pictured here on Jays Vision in his first appearance as a Blue Jay at the Rogers Centre.  The 32 year-old Bronx Bomber celebrated his first at-bat with a bomb to center field off the Red Sox Josh Beckett August 18th.  That was among the 10 homers Ruiz belted during his limited time with Toronto after being called up from AAA Las Vegas.  Overall, he batted .313/.385/.635 and added 7 doubles, 17 RBI and a stolen base for you fantasy leaguers.Collecting awards has become old hat for Ruiz this off-season.  In addition to being named to the Topps Triple-A All-Star team, he was also named the Pacific Coast League's MVP and was also selected as Topps PCL Player of the Year.  During his time in Las Vegas, Ruiz compiled a batting line of .320/.39...
